Gazprom says gas output rises by 15.2% to 445 bcm in Jan–mid Nov

MOSCOW, Nov 15 (PRIME) -- The gas output of Russian gas giant Gazprom rose by 15.2% on the year to 445 billion cubic meters in January–mid November, the company said on Monday in a statement on its Telegram channel citing preliminary data.

Gas exports to the non-CIS states grew by 8.3% on the year to 164.8 billion cubic meters in the period. Exports to Turkey rose by 98.1%, to Germany by 19.6%, to Italy by 18.3%, to Romania by 247.1%, to Serbia by 92.9%, to Poland by 7.3%, to Bulgaria by 48.2%, to Greece by 13.7%, to Slovenia by 53.3% and to Finland by 10.8%.

Shipments to China via Sila Sibiri exceeded contract obligations by 35.4% as of November 7.

Gas supplies to the Russian market increased by 16.5% in the period, the company said.

Gas offtake from the European underground gas storages has already amounted to 6.6% of the volume pumped in the summer, while from November 1 to 5 the offtake hit a many-year record for the date, Gazprom said. According to Gas Infrastructure Europe, as of November 13, the European underground gas storages were only 74% full, and the volume of active gas was 19.5 billion cubic meters less than last year.
